Barry is married to Lynne (his manager,) they have three grown up children, and two grandchildren. They settled back in the West Midlands after Barry left the RAF in 1988, where he served across the country and in Belgium.

Barry’s family always knew he could sing, and with a little encouragement from Lynne and his daughter Leonie he entered his first talent competition whilst on holiday. Barry won the competition and it was during that talent competition a fellow contestant came up to Barry and told him you sound like Roy Orbison singing Robbie Williams.

From that small comment Barry has developed a full tribute show To Roy Orbison and his stage presence and performance has been perfected to as close to the man as humanely possible, even down to the fact that he looks like The Big O as well, and as they say from then on the only way was up!!!

Barry has toured New Zealand, Denmark, Holland, & Germany  where he has received standing ovations and fantastic reviews, he has also toured across the country in the Show "Rockin on Heavens Door" and he is pleased and excited to be touring the UK with his own show, Roy Orbison & The Beatles Live in Concert.
